It is with immense pleasure that Boggy&Thol welcome Maiken Hjulgaard to her role as General Manager. Maiken brings more than two decades of experience in the jewelry industry. She has played a pivotal role in uplifting the brand of various organizations and bringing them to prominence, including overseeing stone-sourcing and quality control at Georg Jensen, Thailand. At Boggy &Thol, Maiken will continue to shape the work environment, supervise strategy, allocate resources, develop staff, build the organization and oversee operations.
Danish by birth, Maiken was attracted to jewelry early in her career.
A qualified goldsmith she holds a Seminariet for håndværk og Design,
a teaching degree centred on exploring the experimental side of jewelry creation. Maiken has pursued innovation and experimentation throughout her career, and we are excited about her continuing to do so alongside workshop manager Thibault Holeman and French designer Cyril Bogaievsky.

Fluent in English, with a charming Danish lilt, Maiken is at her best employing her linguistic abilities in her personal and professional daily life. International communication is one of her many skills. She has a great deal of experience with different cultures and is extremely aware of the importance of clear and accurate communication.
The choice of Maiken for General Manager is not only because she is highly qualified in analysis and problem solving; but also because of her patient nature and multicultural lifestyle. She is invaluable at preventing, handling and resolving conflicts in the international arena.
As General Manager, Maiken will continue to oversee simultaneous projects with clients in multiple countries, the US, New Zealand, Thailand and Sweden as well as Juggling international orders, design changes and customer queries.
On agreeing to take on the challenge of General Manager, Maiken said: “I am extremely delighted to continue to be an integral part of the Boggy&Thol team.
